Repeat offender sentenced to four years in prison
Repeat Offender, Michael Elwin of Goodwill was sentenced to four months in prison after he pleaded guilty to a charge of malicious damage.
Reports indicated that Elwin intentionally set ablaze four 2 x 4 x 8 posts belonging to a Goodwill resident.
The offence was committed on the front porch of the virtual complainant’s home.
When the officer asked Elwin about the incident, he replied ‘I was just roasting my bread’.
The cost of the damage was eighty-six dollars.
