Residents of BelleVue Chopin welcome a new state-of-the-art Tourist Reception Centre
The BelleVue Chopin Organic Farmers Movement Inc. in conjunction with the government of Dominica and officials of the Waitukubuli National Trail Project officially opened the doors of a brand new state-of –the-art Tourist Information Centre to the villagers of BelleVue Chopin and its environs for the very first time on Friday March 11th, 2011.
The project which commenced in 2009 and is being regarded as a major accomplishment by the villagers consist of a small reception area, a kitchenette and a conference room as well as wash room facilities.
President of the BelleVue Chopin Organic Farmers Movement Inc. Mr. Roy Ormond says the movement is pleased that the project which now forms part of one of the Waitukubuli National Trail Project has finally materialized.
Mr. Edward Henderson, a representative from the Ministry of Tourism, who represented the Minister of Tourism Honourable Ian Douglas at the ceremony, applauded the farmers and the residents of BelleVue Chopin for their foresight and initiative.
