Roseau Parl Rep Appalled at Littering at the Dominica Grammar School’s Yard
Parliamentary Representative for the Roseau Central Constituency Mr. Norris Prevost, says he is really appalled at the littering issues of the Grammar School yard, as well as behind of the Windsor Park Stadium.
Mr. Prevost says that he has been speaking about the Grammar School Yard for more than four years yet not a thing has been done about it.
He stated that the students of Dominica Grammar School are part of our future and the school is our pride, since in January 2013 they will observe 120 years of existence.
Mr. Prevost says the teachers need to feel like they are in a good environment to teach.
According to the Parl Rep, this is not only having a negative impact on the teachers and students.
He believes this also has an effect on our tourists, which are important to our economy.
Mr. Prevost is also concerned about the land behind the Windsor Park Stadium and its current state.
He believes this could be used as an area where students can host football games and other sporting activities.
Mr. Prevost says National Day is supposed to be the day when we reflect on who we are.
