SAT Telecommunications Launches Super fast Broadband Internet Service

This launch will surely revolutionize Internet service in Dominica, with broadband Internet packages that will deliver speeds of up to 50MBs to customers.

The previous maximum of 8MBs now become the minimum speed being offered.

Chief Executive Officer of SAT Telecoms Richard Stanton, to celebrate the launch, all new packages ranging from 8MBs to 50MBs will be available for half price for the first three months.

Residents living in the communities of Canefield, Goodwill / Rose Street, Jimmit, Loubiere, Mero, Mahaut, Morne Prosper, Scotts Head, Shawford and Trafalgar will now be able to enjoy the fastest and most reliable home Internet service.

This is made possible thanks to a state-of-the-art underground fibre network which allows customers to surf, stream and share faster using their smartphones, tablets and PC’s – with little or no interruption at the same time.

The Internet will be 4 times the speed for just about the same price as the competitors which will drive the market.

An interactive booth has been set up at SAT’s Bath Road Roseau office, where customers can test the superfast internet service on tablets and or laptops.

The C.E.O also revealed, that SAT will have more television content for customers in addition to more channel packages to enhance TV viewing pleasure very soon.

Sales representatives will be going door to door so that customers can sign up for packages, which will start at EC$42.50 per month for the first three months.

Existing customers simply have to sign up to receive the new, faster speed for the first three months free of charge.
