Shane Degallerie Receives 18 Years for Murder
Shane Degallerie has been sentenced to 18 years imprisonment for the murder of 19 year old deceased Justin Joseph of Fond Cole.
Mr. Degallerie was found guilty of murder on Thursday 13th June and was sentenced on Friday July 19th, by Justice Bernie Brooks who considered evidences from both the prosecution and the defence.
The period Degallerie spent on remand was also deducted from the 18 year sentence.
The incident of the murder occurred on Friday 23rd April 2010 at Evalettes Bar in Pottersville.

The trial took approximately three weeks where 12 witnesses were called to testify.
Shane was classified to be a cool headed and hardworking individual, however on the contrary he was described as a tyrant in the community.
