Sixteen students receive city and guilds awards
Sixteen students received city and guilds awards today Tuesday 4th of October. The Dominica state college (DSC) is now in association with city and guilds, the largest and most established organization in the united kingdom.
Every year city and guilds awards approximately 1.9 million certificates.
One of the electrical installation students Ollison Vidal said that although they were well taught, it was up to them to decide what they would do with the information.
President Donald peters’ goal is to ensure that degrees from the DSC would be accepted anywhere in the world and this is one step closer to his aspiration.
The DSC is approved by city and guilds to offer motor vehicle systems, electrical installation, construction technical, mechanical engineering, refrigeration and engineering and electrical engineering.
Nine students received level two international vocational diplomas in electrical installation and seven received in motor vehicle systems.
