The Antiguan Police Drama Group to stage a play at the Arawak House of Culture, this weekend

 

The Antigua and Barbuda Police Drama Group has partnered with the Dominica Police Force and the New Dimension Theatre to stage a play at the Arawak House of Culture, this weekend.

 

Every year, the Antigua and Barbuda Police Drama Group stages a play in their native homeland, as part of activities marking Police week which is being observed during the month of September, and this year, the group has decided to embark on a tour of the Caribbean to showcase the play which they said is in very high demand.

 

Corporal Raymond Theophile of the Antigua and Barbuda Police Force said that the annual event is one that everyone eagerly looks forward to, since there are always in excess of 5000 people in attendance.

 

According to Sergeant Timothy Drew of the Antigua and Barbuda Police Force, the play which is entitled ‘Battle line’ is filled with humor and excitement.

 

He said that the play is two fold, since it also bears a positive message for all, especially the youth.

 

Corporal Raymond Theophile appealed to Dominicans to support the play, which is scheduled to begin at 8:00pm nightly, this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Arawak House of Culture.
