THREE CHARGED IN DRUG BUST

The police have arrested and charged three men following the seizure of alleged cocaine and cannabis on January 30, 2014, at Capuchin.

They are Alexis Carriere of Lagoon Portsmouth, Kendel Sylvester of Woodford Hill and Ferdinand Daniel of Zicack Portsmouth.

The men have been charged with importation, possession and possession with intent to supply 45,000 grams of cocaine and importation, possession and possession with intent to supply 99,000 grams of cannabis.

The cocaine has a street value of 1.215 million dollars, while the cannabis has a street value of 217,800 dollars.

They appeared before a Roseau Magistrate on Monday February 3, 2014.
