Communications Specialist of the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO), Mr. Johnson JohnRose stated that a country’s reputation is its most valuable asset occasionally is threatened by a crisis, hence the reason why this Seminar is very important to Dominica.

He stated whether an accident, crime or a natural disaster, it is how we handle a crisis that sets us apart from everyone else, as it can make or break us.

Mr. JohnRose mentioned that this seminar is meant to correct these instances, where two different messages are sent out from one country during a crisis which confuses the outside world.

With that he says at the end when we do speak during a crisis we all are saying the same thing.

There will also be the formation of a Crisis Management and Communications Team.
