Trio hosts fashion show to support Sexually Abused Children in Dominica
The dream of Jasmine Zarkha to support sexually abused children and their families in Dominica will take another bold step next week, when Teen’s In Style Dominica host their second fashion show, with the addition of a trade show.
Teen’s In Style Dominica, an organization founded by Jasmine was created to showcase, promote and develop the artistic and unique talents of youth in Dominica.
Jasmine says the organization is aimed at raising funds through fashion for charities while creating an awareness and importance of fashion in the Nature Isle.
The Krazy Koconuts will be venue for the double-event on Thursday, July 28th.
Co-founder of Teen’s In Style Dominica, Chad Astaphan says the fashion show will feature local clothing and accessory vendors as well as local designers throughout the island.
The event is expected to attract over 300 young adults from the Dominican community.
Chad Astaphan said that a number of boutiques in Dominica have come on board to support the event, which is expected to display high fashion at its best.
Chad and Jasmine will be working with Maria Rolle, who is the events coordinator for the event.
Regular tickets for the Fashion Show will cost $10 and VIP $15.
The trade show is carded for 5:00pm while the fashion show is expected to begin at 7:30pm.
Guest artists include Daddy Chess and Falcon, as well as the Fanatik Band, among others.
