Two injured in Fond Cole accident
Two persons were rushed to the princess Margaret hospital (PMH), at 5:15pm Wednesday February 8th, following a vehicular accident on the Fond Cole highway.
The accident occurred between, a Nissan double cab van registration number pc107, being driven by its owner Sylvester Edward of Fond Cole in a northerly direction, and motorcycle registration number tj646, driven by its owner called Rolle of Salisbury in a southerly direction.
Police P.R.O sergeant Kenth Matthew has more on this incident.
Mr. Rolle was bleeding after the incident, and appeared to be in a lot of pain, especially when his head was being stabilized, by the fire and ambulance personnel before he could be transported to the P.M.H
The accident which occurred during, the time when most workers were on their way home from work, held up traffic for some time, as many onlookers stopped to have a look at the unfortunate accident.
Ms. Federick was discharged the same day, after receiving medical treatment; however Mr. Rolle was admitted to the PMH, as he suffered a broken left femur, and needs further medical attention.
