During the Opening Ceremony, there will be remarks from Mr. Roberts, Dr. Francis Severin, Director of Open Campus Country Sites, stakeholders and the Prime Minister of Dominica, Honourable Roosevelt Skerrit.

The purpose of the workshop is to introduce the key players in the public and private sectors to a new model in collective bargaining negotiation, that radically departs from the current adversarial and protracted approach.

This new approach, called ‘Interest-Based Bargaining,’ is designed to restore trust and confidence in the public and private sector collective bargaining process, which is central to the country’s short to medium term macroeconomic strategy.
