UWP States Plans for Upcoming Elections
One of the founding members of the United Workers Party (UWP), Honourable Norris Prevost, who has devoted 25 years to the development of Dominica and his constituency Roseau Central, will not be contesting the next general elections, constitutionally due in 2015; however, he says his talents and expertise will be fully available to guide the new professionals within the party.
The members of the United Workers Party are currently restructuring and implementing new ideas, which will foster confidence from both its supporters and non-supporters.
Mr. Prevost revealed that the United Workers Party has proposals for concrete jobs in the tourism sector, right here in our capital.
These proposals alone can create approximately 500 sustainable jobs, according to Mr. Prevost.
The United Workers Party’s aim is to focus on special areas of tourism including health and wellness, as well as eco and agro tourism.
