Voice of Truth Play Captures the Public’s Attention

Many gathered at the Arawak House of Culture to witness the most talked about play “The Voice of Truth” on Friday October 12th, as the Hunger and Thirst Drama Group blew the crowd away with an awesome performance.

P.R.O of the group Ms. Nabiner George, who stated previously that being part of the play has changed her life, played the role as a teacher.

Writer and coordinator of the play Ms. Cathy Augustine, indeed portrayed the “voice of truth’ in her role.

The play was targeted towards everyone, not just the younger generation and the entire crowd gave a positive reaction.

Ms. Augustine gave messages and advice that even the crowd reacted to.

The audience came alive and cheered when Secretary of the Group Ms. Annisia Jno Baptiste brought out the message behind the play, which is to differentiate between malicious voices and the right choices.

However, at the end she made the conscious decision to get married.

The play was a life changing experience for any individual facing any form of trouble or in doubt of overcoming their struggles.
