The Third Digicel Test Cricket Match in which the West Indies team will go head to head with Australia at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium was officially launched on March 9th.
This will be the second time that the Australians will play in Dominica with the first time being after Hurricane David in 1979 for the Kerry Parker World Series.
Mr. Richard Stanton, the Country Manager of Digicel says that the company supports the sport of Cricket in Dominica as it is a major aspect of Dominican culture.
The WCIB has maintained that for all cricket in the West Indies children 16 years and under and senior citizens 60 years and over will be admitted free.
In addition, the Minister of Tourism, Honourable Ian Douglas says that Dominicans should take this opportunity to present not only a good product for these visitors but make it an investment in the future so that they will return for visits.
The Test matches will run from April 23rd to 27th.
Emmanuel Nanthan President of the Dominica Cricket Association said that despite Dominicans small size that we are the biggest lovers of cricket in the Caribbean.
Honourable Justina Charles, the Minister of Sports says encourages Dominicans to come out and show their support for the games.
